Kelsey Sullivan - Final Project Paragraph

For this project I will be expanding off of two of my pictures from the stylized photograph assignment (the self portrait and the picture of the legs). I want to explore working with self portraits and potentially incorporating in themes of body image and how I portray myself. I think this has a lot of potential to bring about conversation as well as make viewers uncomfortable in a good way. Additionally, having pictures looking at myself and maybe not always my face will invite viewers into the photos in a unique way. Through this, I feel like I have an opportunity to play around a lot with mirrors and maybe even lighting and props. Overall, I feel like this will be a good project for me not to only go more in depth with a different type of photography, but potentially learn more about myself.
